Ama Zulu Guesthouse & Safaris is in the heart of Hluhluwe on the beautiful untamed Elephant Coast in KwaZulu Natal.

Ama Zulu Guesthouse is also within easy reach of Sodwana Bay, St Lucia, Cape Vidal, Lake Sibaya, Mkuze Game Reserve as well as Ndumo Game Reserve, Tembe Elephant Park and Lake Josini. The safari company, "umHluhluwe Safaris", arranges three, six and nine hour safaris into the game reserve.

Champagne breakfasts, bush braais, lunch packs as well as picnics in the park can also be arranged on request. Qualified field guides will take you on safari in comfortable, modern open game-drive vehicles.

Directions
From Johannesburg (about 500 km)

Take the N17 South past Springs, Bethal, Ermelo, Pongola, into Hluhluwe. Turn left into the road just past the Engen filling station. At the yield sign turn right; at the T-junction turn left into Nyala Street, travel to the end of the road and on the left is Ama Zulu Guesthouse.

From Pretoria

Take the N4 towards Middelburg, turn off to Ermelo, then continue as above.

From Durban (about 300 km)

Take the N2 north past Richards Bay and Mtubatuba, then take the Hluhluwe turn-off to Hluhluwe. In the village continue as above.
