Giggling Gecko is a two star guest house - meet the two stars: Michele & Rodney!
The idea of a guest house came to us when the last of our offspring was about to "fly the coop" and we realised that we had the perfect setting for family holidays. With a 15 minute stroll to the beach, almost perfect climate, entertainment venues, fabulous family restaurants, sporting facilities, shopping centres, nature reserves all interlinked with the beautiful sunshine coast scenery plus its facilities - we felt compelled to give others the opportunity to enjoy all that our home and surroundings have to offer. We are "pet friendly" although we draw the line when it comes to pythons and crocodiles. Feel free to call us with details.

You will have the comfort of a main en-suite and lounge opening onto a large patio and pool area with braai facilities. A separate dining room, large, open-plan kitchen with eye-level oven, hob and breakfast bar, laundry, second bedroom and main bathroom complete these facilities which will sleep 6 adults comfortably.

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

Secure parking in a peaceful garden with well established trees offers the ideal breakaway in the unspoilt Easten Cape. High perimeter walls offer relative privacy for all guests for suntanning and cooling off in the pool.

Try a peaceful suburb in a beautiful part of South Africa, on a magnificent coastline, with a myriad of facilities no more than 15 km away, a fantastic surfing beach within a 15 minute stroll from your bedroom and a picturesque river even closer and you will have found a family holiday paradise.

We have even arranged for an improvement in the weather! The wind of the past few weeks has abated, temperatures have increased, evenings are exquisite and sundowners at the pool or on the beach will transport you into a new experience.

Route beschrijving
From any entry point into East London, find the North East Express Way. Take PEARCE St off-ramp, then OLD TRANSKEI Rd. Turn RIGHT at 2nd Traffic light into Beach Road. Proceed across 4-Way Stop, take 2nd LEFT (May St), then 1st RIGHT (Stanmore Rd). No 57 is 3rd house on RIGHT.
