Festina Lente, a luxurious guesthouse, is located in the northern suburb of Hurlingham in Sandton, Johannesburg … only 2 kilometres from the popular Sandton City Shopping Centre. The property is easily accessed from William Nicol and Sandton Drive.

The family who lived here before us, built the original house and stayed
here for 48 years – which might be the reason we believe this
sanctuary in the heart of Jo’burg has so much soul.

The crowning glory of the park-like garden, which attracts many
birds and butterflies, is the huge Pine Oak tree that shades
the main house.

Festina Lente offers a sensory experience and resonates
an ambiance of old world charm with a touch of
new-world glamour.

Our wish at Festina Lente is that you will leave with the
sense that some inner equilibrium has been restored.

Festina Lente currently offers two superior elegant units that are generous in size. Each unit is individually and luxuriously decorated in a style that marries a classic French influence seamlessly with "African chic.” An abundance of antiques inject a sense of refined warmth and soul into the units, creating a sanctuary of comfort and luxury.

Festina Lente Is situated only 30 minutes away from
O.R. Tambo International airport. It is in close proximity to Sandton Central; Sandton is a playground for shopping enthusiasts and offers many activities such as theatre and a variety of restaurants. Sandton City, Nelson Mandela Square, Village Walk, Hyde Park Centre, etc. are all within 3 kilometres
of the guesthouse.

The Sandton Gautrain station is also in close proximity and have a direct link to and from OR Tambo International Airport.
