The Toll House offers spectacular self catering accommodation in Tulbagh, with a majestic back drop of the Witzenberg mountains. Centrally located in Tulbagh’s historic Church Street, of 32 National Monuments, the Toll House dates from 1807. It’s Cape Dutch architecture features thatched roofs, gables and yellow wood floors. If you feel the need to unwind and spend some quality time with family or friends, this is the ideal venue.

The spacious self catering cottage comfortably accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bed room is dominated by its four poster bed, and has an en suite shower room. 2 further bedrooms, one double and one twin, share a separate bathroom and toilet.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge. The secluded garden has a welcoming plunge pool, sun beds and braai/BBQ.
The self catering facility is an easy walk from a number of excellent restaurants, delicatessen, supermarkets and banks.
Weddings in Tulbagh are increasingly popular, and The Toll House provides flexible accommodation for families and groups of friends. If you have a wedding in Tulbagh the guests can be accommodated in both the Toll House self catering cottage and the Tulbagh Hotel itself on a bed and breakfast basis.

Although a self catering cottage, it is owned by the Tulbagh Hotel, and a bed and breakfast rate can be arranged at any time.

From Cape Town via Wellington -
1.Take the N1, northbound, from Cape Town towards Paarl.
2.Exit N1 at the (R44) Wellington "Agter Paarl/Klapmuts" off ramp. Turn
left at first junction towards Wellington.
3.Continue on R44 towards Wellington. Straight ahead at 4 way stop,
4. After about 5km's turn left at a set of traffic lights into
Distillery Road - this is a continuation of the R44.
5. Continue on R44 towards Hermon, Ceres and Porterville.
6. 5 km after passing through Nuwe Kloof Pass turn left sign posted
Tulbagh.
7. Continue until reaching a T-junction stop. Turn left into the main road -
Van der Stel Street.
8. The Tulbagh hotel is half way down on the righthand side, next to
Standard Bank.
