13 Pondokkie is situated in the tranquil little village of Suiderstrand, in the Agulhas National Park. The village is 5 km from the historic lighthouse which is at the most southern tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean's meet.

This is a self catering beach cottage that can sleep up to 8 people, plus a flat which can sleep 4. The flat has lovely sea views and an inside braai. Ideally the cottage and flat should be booked together by a large group. The living area is a fully equipped kitchen/dinning room with an indoor fire place. There is an outdoor braai area in a secluded area surrounded by fynbos. All bed linen is provided but guest to bring own towels.

There is plenty to do in the area: Experience the longest uninterrupted sand beach in the Southern hemisphere at Struisbaai which also boasts a colorful fisherman's harbour. Chartered boat trips and kayaking is available here. This is a nature lover's paradise with seasonal whale watching and many nature trails in the nearby nature reserves. Discover the beauty of Pietise Punt in the Agulhas National Park. Other activities in the area include horse riding, surfing, kite surfing, angling, 4x4 trips and bowls.

Take the N2 towards Somerset West, continue to Caledon, take the second turn right into Caledon. Pass through Napier, Bredarsdorp, Struisbaai and Cape Agulhas. Continue with the sand road going past the southern tip of Africa. Once in Suiderstrand turn left into Seemans Way, just past the main beach turn right into Oubaai Way then left into Pondokkie Street. 13 Pondokkie is the last house on the left.
