Brenton on Sea is situated within the Knysna / Western Heads conservancy and offers an ideal setting for that relaxed seaside holiday for family, friends and couples to enjoy. We offer self catering accommodation ideally situated in the small coastal ”suburb” of Brenton on Sea, just 15 minutes by car from Knysna town, voted South Africa’s favourite holiday town in 2000 & 2002.

The self catering accommodation is near to the Brenton Blue butterfly reserve, small secluded beaches as well as a 5km stretch of beach perfect for long walks all the way to Buffalo Bay. Fisherman’s walk on the Brenton Cliffs offers an alternative activity and one can enjoy views that stretch the length of white sandy beach and undeveloped coastline.

The accommodation is part of the main house yet offers a private entrance and a secure, spacious and clean environment from which to enjoy your holiday. The flat offers the following: 1. A double bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower and toilet. (bath towels and bed linen is provided) 2. A well equipped kitchen, including a fridge with freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, cutlery & crockery is open plan. 3. The lounge offers 2 double couches and a colour television with DVD player. (T.V. with standard & select DSTV channels is operated through the main house & a selection of DVD's are provided for your entertainment) 4. A large private patio with table and chairs and 2 lazy deck chairs. 5. BBQ facilities. 6. Private entrance & parking inside the property 7. 2 x beach chairs and a beach umbrella 8. Hairdryer 9. In winter a gas heater is provided and extra blankets. Birdlife is exceptional & bushbuck and mongoose frequently visit us.

Route beschrijving
Travelling along the N2 from George or Knysna follow the sign post indicating Belvedere and Brenton on Sea. Follow the road under the bridge for approximately 8km which takes you direct to Brenton on Sea. C.R. Swart Road is the main road leading into Brenton on Sea, follow it until you get to a bend and continue with the bend over 2 speed bumps then turn left into Roman Road after the 2nd speed bump. Turn left into Steenbras Road and then the first left into Bitou Place. The property is at the end of this Cul du Sac, and has a wooden fence & gate. Please ring the bell at the gate.
