The Flophouse is a fully furnished & equipped self catering timber cottage that accommodates up to 5 guests. The unit has one bathroom, one bedroom with double bed, open plan kitchen & living area with a bunk bed and single bed. We are 300m from the sea and you can enjoy a reasonable view of the Atlantic Ocean from the deck. Your closest neighbours (excluding us of course) is approx. 30m from the Flophouse. Private & quiet.
Balance of account payable in cash on arrival.

A damage/breakage deposit of R500 may be payable on arrival.
Guests will be held liable for any/all damage to the property & content. We do not supply towels. No Pets allowed.
1) The nearest filling station is in Koiingnaas, a 50km round trip from Hondeklip. So, fill up in Springbok or Garies before you hit the road to Hondeklip. 2) There is a FNB ATM in Koiingnaas but do not rely on the availability of cash. 3) Internet access is limited but if you can find the right spot, it works. 4) Although the municipal water is potable, we suggest that you bring sufficient bottled water for drinking purposes. 5) There are two small shops, three restaurants, a small hardware store and a bottle store in Hondeklip. That’s IT!! 6) NO facilities for fixing a flat tyre – bring a can of tyre-fix. 7) DO NOT get stuck in the sand – it will cost you BIG BUCKS. 8) The dirt road from Garies to Hondeklip is 83 km and in fair condition – allow 90 minutes for the trip. 9) If you travel via Springbok, Komagas and Koiingnaas to Hondeklip, the dirt road is slightly shorter (70km) and in better condition. Do not use this road during the rainy season!!
