Hawkshead Guest Farm provides comfortable, private accommodation at affordable prices. Our units sleep from 2 up to 5 persons and are suitable for the business person or family. The units are fully self-catering and have a hob, fridge, kettle and microwave as well as a braai area. The setting is rural against a rocky koppie with pleasant views over the Crocodile River valley.
We now offer Hippo Lodge at Hawkshead, which consists of 6 twin-bedded rooms with showers en-suite, set around a pleasant, shady courtyard with a communal kitchen, TV lounge and dining room, as well as a large braai area. Hippo Lodge is ideal for groups and the budget-conscious.
Facilities on site include a games room with pool table, soccer game, darts, etc. There is a small, well-equipped gym, a trampoline, swimming pool and a petting farm. Guests’ pets are welcome by arrangement and there is a secure fenced area where dogs can be left if the owners wish to visit the Kruger Park or shopping mall.
Hawkshead is only 70kms away from the Kruger National Park as well as the attractions of the scenic Lowveld Escarpment. It is also convenient as a stopover on the way to Mozambique and there is plenty of room for boat- and other trailers.
