Cherry Tree Cottage is a safe & secure, centrally situated, 3 star SA Tourism Grading Council accredited Bed and Breakfast establishment with self catering facilities. We are members of the National Accommodation Association and are a quality assured establishment. We are ideally placed for you to do business in the city by day and enjoy country style comfort by night! We are situated in the safe, secure Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg in Linden nestled at the foot of Aasvoelkop (Northcliff). There is fast & easy access off the M1 highway and we are close to Parktown, Rosebank, Randburg, Parkhurst, Greenside, Parkview, Melville & Sandton. Linden boasts a covered/heated swimming pool, a Mashe golf course and ten pin bowling nearby, with Emmerentia Dam and Delta Park in the vicinity. We are conveniently close to most Conference Centres, Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals, & Universities. The Randburg Waterfront, Sundome Casino & Monte Casino provide a wide variety of entertainment with top restaurants & cinemas, & major shopping malls and most sports clubs are nearby.

We have four executive suites, each of which can accommodate 2 persons sharing (Twin/single beds or Kingsize) with shower or bath en suite. Each unit has its own distinct character & charm. All are self contained units with their own entrance & remote controlled, secure off-street parking. Each suite opens onto a private patio & braai area in a secluded garden. Each unit is equipped with colour TV, alarm radio, a heater/hot blanket in winter -hairdryer & iron. They are fully serviced daily, and tea & coffee are supplied. Linen, cutlery & crockery supplied. ROOM 1 –IMVULA(rain),-Garden Suite (Twin Beds with shower ensuite) Wake up to the sounds of- birds or the smell of a freshly brewed coffee. Stunning interior and tranquil ambience. ROOM 2 –UMOYO(soul), -Executive Suite (Kingsize bed or twin beds and shower ensuite) Relax in Afro-centric style, surrounded by peace and tranquility. A place to unwind and be renewed- a touch of heaven and earth. ROOM 3 –INHLABATHI(earth),- Executive Suite (Kingsize bed and shower over bath ensuite) Tastefully decorated, a little style at affordable prices, comfort you would want from quality accommodation. Modern, large, airy and spacious. ROOM 4 –UMLILO(fire),-Standard Suite (Twin Beds with shower ensuite) Contemporary, and individually decorated. Warm, bright and sunny, with spectacular Highveld summer evenings & sunsets to be enjoyed!

A substantial wholesome continental breakfast is available, comprising fruit in season, juice, yoghurt, cereals, boiled eggs, a selection of muffins, croissants, pancakes with a variety of preserves and tea or coffee. In the evening you are welcome to make use of the dining room facilities and to warm up pre-prepared meals in the microwave if you prefer.... or order from Mr Delivery. There are 6 restaurants nearby in Linden if you want to eat out. viz- Die Blou Hond, Paputzi's, Satori, Banjaara, Piccolo and the Suan Thai and The Cheese Market. Parkhurst and Greenside and Emmerentia, Melville and Rosebank,- the "Gourmet Mile of Jhb" and the Cresta Mall and Brightwater Common are all close by. There is a Spar nearby and a Woolworths and Pick and Pay a little further away. We could assist with transport while staying with us. We offer a "Meet & Greet" Service & Executive Transfers to and from the Gautraain in Sandton, the airport, and to places of interest in and around Johannesburg and to Sun City.

DIRECTIONS TO CHERRY TREE COTTAGE-57 NINTH STREET LINDEN Latitude -26.14063 Longitude 27.995953 • Take the off ramp on the M1North at Empire Rd/University of the Witwatersrand. • Take R55-Auckland Park, & turn left onto Empire road travelling towards the Milpark Hospital. • Bear left at the onramp marked M71-Emmarentia onto the fly-over to Barry Hertzog Rd. • You will pass the Milpark Business School on the left- • You will pass through the S-bends with Melville on you left and Parkview Golf Course on your right. • Then on past Emmarentia- shopping centre on your left and Greenside on the right. • Continue till you see the Sunny Shell Garage and take the LH fork into Linden Rd. • Continue down the hill, through the lights in the dip and up the steep hill- 3rd Avenue. • Keep the Town houses on your left and the St Charles Catholic Church on your right. • Pass through two circular roundabouts in this road and then turn left into 9th Street. • Look for Cherry Tree Cottage – 57 Ninth Street Linden on the right- • We are the house with the aquamarine blue roof on Google Maps! Alternatively,from Pretoria or JIA- • If you know the Jhb(M1) & Germiston/Alberton(N3) & Roodepoort/Krugerdorp (N1)(concrete highway) interchange – • Stay in the middle lane of the N1 highway & come round past Rivonia, William Nicol Ave & continue till you reach the Lanseria/ Hans Strydom/ Malibongwe Drive R512 offramp. Take it. • Turn left (Olivedale Clinic is to the right) and come past Mintek, Dept Home Affairs, Damelin Campus & Brightwater Common, Randburg Hoerskool, Medicross Clinic & Judges Ave. • You will see a garage on the left just as you enter a bend to the right and get to the Darrenwood roundabout - Turn left up the hill into 3rd Ave. Count off the streets till you reach 9th Street and turn right. We are well marked on the RH Side. If you miss the first off ramp above, you get a second chance! • Take the M5- Beyers Naude off ramp and turn left towards the water tower on Northcliff Hill. (Wilgeheuvel Hospital is to the right.) • Come up through Blackheath with Cresta on the left and up to Northcliff Corner -a major intersection at MilnerAve on RHS and 5th Street on LHS. Turn left into 5th Street and continue till you reach 3rd Ave. Turn right and continue to count off the streets till you get to 9th Street. Turn right. We are well marked on the RH Side.
