Direction from Cape Town: Take the N2 highway towards Sir Lowry's Pass. After passing through Somerset West, turn right at the Gordons Bay/ Kleinmond sign, and then left at the T-junction and signboard in Gordons Bay marked Rooi Els/ R44, onto the R44 also named Clarence Drive, a spectacular coastal drive. Within 15 minutes you will be in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, looking across False Bay to Cape Point. Continue past Kogel Bay, an area favored by surfers and day trippers. Continue on the R44 passing Rooi Els and Pringle Bay (From the turn off Hangklip/Pringle Bay drive 1.7 km further down the R 44 towards Betty's Bay) and you will see Kapensis Guesthouse on your left hand side. From up country: Travelling towards Cape Town along the N2 highway, take the Hermanus/Botrivier off ramp. Turn left at the T-junction (R43) and continue for a couple of kilometers, until you reach the R44 and turn right to Kleinmond. Drive past Arabella Golf Course and Spa, through the towns of Kleinmond and Bettys Bay. Continue straight until the road reaches the highest point. After 30 meters you'll see the entrance of Kapensis Guesthouse on your right hand side.
