DIRECTIONS TO HOEDSPRUIT Directions from Johannesburg Join the N12 and follow it to Witbank The N12 joins the N4 which is followed to Belfast At Belfast turn on to the R540 and follow it to Dullstroom and Lydenburg Pass through Lydenburg and onto the R36 towards Ohrigstad. In Ohrigstad follow the R527 over the Abel Erasmus pass and through the JG Strydom tunnel towards Hoedspruit. HOEDSPRUIT TO SAUSAGE TREE BUSH CAMP Pass through Hoedspruit and turn left onto the R40 (R530). After 17 km turn right into the Main Balule Nature Reserve Gate. Follow the Olifants road for +/- 4km then turn left at Sable Road . 800m down Sable road you will reach the Sausage Tree turn off on your left. (Sign marked) Follow the road for 300m to camp.
