Getting to us GPS 15°45’54.57” S 29°13’10.82” E There are various means of getting to the Lodge: For those who wish to get there as fast as possible, a chartered flight is the way to go. From Lusaka the flight takes approximately 30 minutes and from Livingstone, approximately 1 ½ hours. From the airstrip to the Lodge will only take a few minutes by boat or a scenic drive by game viewing vehicle. If you are more adventurous, you could drive right up to the Lodge and put your 4x4 through its paces on the final 20km stretch. From Chirundu it’s about an 80 km drive but the last 65 km is a dirt road and will take approximately 2 ½ hours. You will need a high clearance vehicle for this dirt road. From Livingstone it’s about 496 km and will take approximately 7 hrs. Alternatively, you could leave your vehicle at Gwabi Lodge and make your way to the Lodge on a relaxing boat cruise while enjoying game viewing and the lush scenery along the banks of the river. Rest assured, once you arrive at Mvuu Lodge, you will discover tranquility you can really get used to!
