From Johannesburg take the M1 to Pretoria then take the N1 to Pietersburg./Polokwane ...or From the OR Thambo Airport area you could take the R21 to Pretoria and join the N1 north Pietersburg(Polokwane) Travel on the N1 highway until you reach the R576 turnoff at Settlers/Condrington. At turnoff turn left, travel to T-junction which meets Old Warmbaths Road and turn right, travel until you reach a stop street. You are entering Warmbaths. On your left will be a group of wooden thatch structures (Maxis, O'hagans, Greenfields etc.) Travel across stop street over the bridge until you reach a robot intersection. Turn left, (on the left is entrance to Pick’n pay & shops etc) follow road which will make a sharp bend around Aventura until you reach the next T-Junction. Turn left, travel past Aventura on left hand side of you and at the circle turn left on the Rooiberg/Thabazimbi road. Follow this road passing the entrance to Mabalingwe and the sign showing Mabula. 7 kilos after Mabula, on your left will show the sign Kromdraai, also visible will be the Ditholo Board with Logo of Kudu head. Turn left onto Kromdraai a gravel road. As per drawing follow the road 11km until first cross road turn left, follow the road till your next cross road turn right, follow the road around a sharp curve travel until you see the main gate of Ditholo on your right. Ditholo signs are visible on the gravel road at each point to guide you. Go carefully on the gravel road. About 70-80 km is a good speed.
