Sesriem is situated at the intersection of the C27 road from Helmeringhausen and the D826 which brings traffic in from Solitaire in the north and Maltahöhe in the south when it joins with the C19. The entrance gate to Desert Camp is located on the left hand side of the D826 road, ±8 kilometres from the T-junction intersection with the C19. The entrance to the world renowned Sossusvlei Lodge is situated a further 5 kilometres down the D826 on the right hand side of the road. This luxury lodge lies a mere 550 metres from the entrance gate to the Namib Naukluft Park, home to the famous Sossusvlei and some of the highest dunes in the world
