Directions
Traveling from Johannesburg, take the N4 to Nelspruit. Continue on this route until you reach the turn off for Belfast / Dullstroom.
Turn left into the town of Belfast and continue until the 5th stop street.
Turn right onto the R540 and continue towards Dullstroom. You will continue on this road for 23 kilometres, keep a look out for the MACHADODORP turnoff to the right hand side (there are also boards for Elandskloof Trout Farm).
Turn right and follow the gravel road for approx 5 KM.
Once you pass the first sign for Elandskloof on the left, keep a look out for the 2nd ELANDSKLOOF / ELANDS VALLEY sign.
Turn left at this sign (you will cross over a cattle grid shortly after turning) and continue on this gravel road for about 3.2km until you reach a T-Junction ( Elandskloof resort is situated on the left hand side).
Turn right at the T-junction and continue for approx. 500 meters until you see the Lake Heron sign on your left hand side (there will be a sign on the gate saying no entry, but please do not be confused, it is to keep unwelcome visitors out!). Please keep the gate closed at all times.
Turn into the farm and continue for approx. 2 kilometres along this gravel and concrete road. As you enter Lake Heron, San - Salina Cabin is the first cottage and you can drive directly into the carport.
