By air: Port Elizabeth airport is only 80 minutes drive from Kariega. By road from Port Elizabeth : Kariega Main Lodge Reception Travel along the N2 from Port Elizabeth towards Grahamstown and choose one of 2 alternative routes: Route 1: Proceed on the N2 towards Grahamstown and turn right onto the coastal route on the R72 towards Port Alfred. Travel through Alexandria and onto Kenton-on-Sea. Turn inland and proceed for 14 kms on the R343 until you reach the Kariega gate on your right. Route 2: Proceed on the N2 towards Grahamstown for about 110 km and turn right before reaching Grahamstown onto the tarred road (R343) to Salem and Kenton-on-Sea for a distance of 32 kms. Turn into the Kariega gate on your left.
