The closest Gautrain station is Park Station, Johannesburg – 6 km away.
Directions from O R Tambo:
From the airport, take the R24, and later, the N3 South to Johannesburg. Follow the M2 West to Johannesburg City. Take the M1 North to Pretoria. From the M1 North, take the EMPIRE off-ramp, turn left into Empire Rd and follow the road.
Follow signs to Auckland Park and keep in middle lane. Cross Barry Hertzog Rd (Milpark Hospital will be on your left, and Milpark Garden Court Hotel on your right). Follow the road until the SABC Tower block is ahead of you (Radio Park). Follow the road to the right into Kingsway. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right into University Rd (becomes Main Road – Melville) (Campus Square Centre will be on your left). At the 2nd traffic light, turn left into 4th avenue. GO around the circle and choose the right hand road (Ayr Rd). 22 on ayr is on the corner of Tolip Street and Ayr road – first intersection on your left – 100m from the circle.
