After Barrydale and Ladismith on the R62, turn left in Calitzdorp at the Groenfontein sign. Carry on past the Calitzdorp Dam and after 19km turn left towards the Retreat at Groenfontein. Travel for 1,5km. Coming from Oudtshoorn on the R62 turn right after 30kms at the Kruisrivier turnoff, and again right after 6 kms towards Cango Caves. After 10,7km pass the turnoff to Cango Caves and carry on another 10,6km to Groenfontein Retreat turnoff. Turn right and travel another 1,5km before reaching the Retreat.
