From Johannesburg follow the N3 towards Durban via Harrismith. Continue past Van Reenen's pass. Take the Bergville turnoff (R616). Turn left towards Ladysmith (N11). After 4.5km turn right towards Winterton (R600). Follow the R600 for 32km. At the T-junction, turn left towards Winterton. At the robot as you enter Winterton turn right and cross the railway line. After 13km you'll reach a crossing with Thokozisa Info centre on your opposite left and the Chinese restaurant on your right. Cross over towards the Champagne Valley. After 5.2km you'll see the "Acorn Cottages" sign. Turn right. After 1,8km turn right on the D277. There is an Acorn Cottages sign. Follow the road until you get to a gravel road. Continue on the gravel road for 300m to our entrance. From Durban take the N3 towarda Harrismith. Take the Estcourt North / Giants Castle turnoff (Exit 179). Turn left towards Loskop. After 29.5km you'll reach a crossing with Thokozisa Info centre on your left and the Chinese restaurant on your opposite right. Turn left towards the Champagne Valley. After 5.2km you'll see the "Acorn Cottages" sign. Turn right. After 1,8km turn right on the D277. There is an Acorn Cottages sign. Follow the road until you get to a gravel road. Continue on the gravel road for 300m to our entrance.
