The bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet. There is cutlery, crockery and most utensils you may require. A mobile braai unit is available. The fridge/freezer and lights are solar-powered. We can also power small devices such as mobile phones, laptops and cameras. Unfortunately we cannot run hairdryers and other heavy power-consuming devices. The stove and hot water geyser are gas-powered. Our water meets SABS standards for household use and human consumption, so no need to bring bottled water. Just bring along your foodstuffs and drinks - there is no shop in the reserve, nor are any catering services offered. The rustic stone cottage is much more basic with solar-heated water (no sunshine, no hot water), a small 12-volt fridge / freezer and candles for lighting.
