Please contact owners for directions from Lebombo Border Post as road construction is in process Routes 1 & 2 through the Maragra Sugar Estate Important tip - follow the Calanga Beach Resort directions as Campismo Da Cuna is right opposite Calanga Beach Resort. On the EN1, turn right onto the Maragra Sugar estate road (+/- 65 km’s north from the last control point at the new football stadium in Maputo) – 25°24.616`/E032°46.319’. From the EN1 Maragra turn–off, go straight for 4.3km’s to Maragra’s main Security Gate where you need to check in – S25°26.928’/ E032°46.612’. From the main Security Gate go straight for 4.8km’s over the big steel Bridge over the Nkomati River. On the other side of the Bridge you will find a turn-off to your left –S25°28.506’/E032°48.797’. This is the split of Route 1 (turn left) and Route 2 (go straight) Route 1(please followriute 2 when road is wet) Turn left on the road mentioned above pass the Bridge and go straight for exactly 4.7 km’s. You need to measure this exact distance because the next right–turn is in the middle of the cane fields – S25°26.145’/E032°49.282’. After this right-turn, go on straight for 3.8km’s to another Maragra Security gate where you will exit the Sugar Estate –S25°26.363’/E032°51.628’. From this second Security gate, continue for another 4.6km’s then turn right at the Koeka Shop (Follow the Calanga signs). Here you must stop and deflate your tyres to 1 bar and engage your 4x4 or diff lock. After your stop, turn left pass the small blue building (on your left) on the 4x4 sand track. Continue straight for ± 10 km’s passing Cantina Calanga, brown building to the right(2 km’s from Campismo Da Cuna), where you will turn left to Campismo Da Cuna, right opposite Calanga Beach Resort – S25° 28.056’/E032°58.208’ Route 2 (the longer option – safer option when road is wet) After you have crossed the steel Bridge over the Nkomati River, continue straight pass the Route 1 left turn for ± 3 km’s to Pump Station 22. At this crossing with the white pump station building and huge blue water pumps, turn right and go straight for another ± 3km’s to another Maragra Security gate where you will exit the Sugar Estate. Go straight for ± 3 to 4 km’s to a T-junction (Big, Eucalyptus (Bloekom) trees) where you must stop and deflate your tyres to 1 bar and engage in 4x4 or diff lock. Turn left at this T-junction (Follow the Calanga signs) (19.3 km’s to Campismo Da Cuna) –S25°32.132’/E032°50.020’. Past a small “Koeka Shop” on your left and just past a football field on the right, turn right (Follow the Calanga sign) and follow the track – (Don’t miss this turn-off). 13.3 km’s to Campismo Da Cuna –S25°30.638’/E032º52.748’ After 17.2 km’s (from the T- Junction at the big Bloekom trees), turn right at the split, - 25°27.339’/E032°57.583’ (Follow Calanga signs) Follow the road for another 2 km’s to the Campismo Da Cuna entrance on your left – S25°28.056’/E032°58.208’
