FROM QUEENSTOWN DIRECTION – approximately 30 km to Braeisde Country Cottage As you come into Tarkastad you will pass The Rhino Inn Garage on your RIGHT. SHOW Ground on your LEFT. Take the FIRST turn LEFT after that – a small gravel road. Take the next turn LEFT at the tarr raod. SHOW GROUNDS ON YOUR LEFT as you head out of town again. You will then be on the BEDFORD/ADELAIDE road. The two flat top mountains (Mary and Martha) will be ahead of you. Continue on the road towards the mountains until you reach a MAUNALLY operated security boom. (WHICH is broken at the moment!!) Continue STRAIGHT onto a dirt road – DO NOT turn right towards BLANCO Continue on the dirt road until you come to a fork over a small bridge – follow the BEDFORD ADELAIDE road to the RIGHT. You will pass a BOWLING green /old tennis courts on your LEFT – continue straight Next “land mark” - The Winterberg School Trust School will be on your LEFT hand side – brick buildings in the middle of nowhere! Continue on dirt road, next “land mark” is our big Lucerne shed on the right hand side of road – pass shed for about 3 km. (That is our home farm Braeside – pass this) BRAESIDE COUNTRY COTTAGE is on your RIGHT hand side after that. HOPE YOU HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY.
