Travel directions from Johannesburg/Pretoria GP Co-ordinates Latitude : S24*08".440' Longitude: E030*55".090' Directions from Gauteng / Pretoria o Head towards eMalahleni (Witbank) on either the N4 or N12 , till you get the Belfast off ramp, continue thru Belfast and Dullstroom on the 540 till you reach Mashishing (Lydenburgh).Take the R36 passing thru Orighstad, climb the mountain and enter the low veldt thru the Strijdom tunnel. There are 2 options: A being the shortest. o A: Once down the mountain, continue on the R36 (first turning to your left) towards Tzaneen, after approx 10km's take road to your right towards Phalaborwa. After approx 25km's will end up at a t-junction (R40). Turn left towards Phalaborwa, continue for approx 6km, cross the turning to Tzaneen on your left (R526/R71). From that intersection approx 700metres you will find the sand road entrance to Balule Parsons Gate on your right. Continue on the sand road for approx 5km till you get the Balule Parsons security gate. Continue for approx 3km you will get the road splitting in 3 directions take far left road ( look out for Raptor Retreat road sign). Follow signs to Lodge. o B: Once down the mountain continue straight towards Hoedspruit (527). Take R40 towards Phalaborwa, after approx 35km you will cross the turning to Tzaneen on your left (R526/R71). From that intersection approx 700metres you will find the sand road entrance to Balule Parsons Gate on your right. Continue on the sand road for approx 5km till you get the Balule Parsons security gate. Continue for approx 3km you will get the road splitting in 3 directions take far left road ( look out for Raptor Retreat road sign). Follow signs to Lodge. Please note that the reserve gate closes at 18h00 for check-in
