Quick directions to the farm from Pta/Jhb: Follow the N1 North till you get to the Doreen Road, turn right, then 500m on, left into Adansonia Eco Lodge. Slightly more thorough directions: Follow the N1 to the North. Close to Polokwane there is a slipway to your left (indicating Makhado/Louis Trichardt N1) that circles back over the highway and proceed around the centre of the town. At some point on this stretch of road you will see the 2010 soccer stadium (Peter Mokaba) on your left. Once past Polokwane you proceed straight on - the road will take you through Makhado/Louis Trichardt, over the mountain until eventually you get to the Baobab Plaza tollgate. Once you get there, you are really close. After the toll gate you follow the road for another 19 km or so until you get to the Doreen road. It meets the N1 from the right hand side. On your left you will have a glimpse of the (majestic) Sand River, which may actually have some water in now after the heavy rains. Once you have turned right into the Doreen road, the entrance to Adansonia Eco Lodge is approximately 500m further on your left. There is quite a clear sign with our name on it. To the right you will see the 'Bosvark'. If you missed the Doreen road signage, you will pass a Sasol garage approximately 3km or so further on. You then obviously have to turn back :-) . From our gate it is approximately another 2km or so to the lodge - high rise vehicles are preferred. If you come with a city-slick something, we will make an arrangement with the neighbours so that you can park there.
