Directions Directions from Johannesburg via Warden (approximately 3 ½ hours to Clarens) Take the N3 "Heidelberg/Durban" road. Continue to Warden. Just after Warden take the off ramp to Bethlehem R714. Turn right over the highway and continue to Bethlehem. At the T- Junction turn left to Bethlehem. Drive straight through "Bethlehem" on the Durban road - N5. About 5km out of Bethlehem, turn right onto the Clarens/Golden Gate road (R712). Travel for about 35km to Clarens. Pass Clarens. About 100m further, turn right towards Fouriesburg (R711). Travel for about 1km, turn left at the Road S1028.(Scaapplaats) Follow the tar road then continue on the dust road for about 1km. Turn left at the sign Rehoboth lodge / Bethel Estate. When the farm road forks, keep right ,follow the signs to Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodges. Directions from Johannesburg (about 3 hours to Clarens) Take the N3 "Heidelberg/Durban" road. Directly after crossing the Vaal River (after the Engen One Stop before Villiers), take the slip-way to the left, R26. Turn right to cross the bridge (crossing the N3). Follow the R26 to "Frankfort". Just before Frankfort, turn right at the T-junction. Pass Frankfort, and cross the Wilge River. About 300m further, watch for a sign board "Reitz/Tweeling", and turn left Follow the R26 passed Tweeling and passed Reitz. Drive straight through "Bethlehem" on the Durban road - N5. About 5km out of Bethlehem, turn right onto the Clarens/Golden Gate road (R712). Travel for about 35km to Clarens. Pass Clarens. About 100m further, turn right towards Fouriesburg (R711). Travel for about 1km, turn left at the Road S1028.(Beyers Naude) Follow the tar road then continue on the dust road for about 1km. Turn left at the sign Rehoboth lodge / Bethel Estate. When the farm road forks, keep right ,follow the signs to Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodges. Directions from Durban (about 4 hours to Clarens) Follow the N3 from Durban to Harrismith. Follow the N5 to Kestell, then to Bethlehem. Before Bethlehem, look out for the "Clarens/Golden Gate" (R712) turn-off and turn left. Travel for about 35km to Clarens. go past Clarens. About 100m further, turn right towards Fouriesburg (R711). Travel for about 1km, turn left at the Road S1028.(Beyers Naude) Follow the tar road then continue on the dust road for about 1km. Turn left at the sign Rehoboth lodge / Bethel Estate. When the farm road forks, keep right ,follow the signs to Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodges. Alternative route from Durban Once in Harrismith, turn left onto the R712 to Qwa Qwa. Pass Qwa Qwa, and pass Golden Gate. (This is a scenic route). Travel for about 20km to Clarens. Just before Clarens, Turn Left at the sign board Fouriesburg (R711). Travel for about 1km, turn left at the Road S1028.(Beyers Naude) Follow the tar road then continue on the dust road for about 1km. Turn left at the sign Rehoboth lodge / Bethel Estate. When the farm road forks, keep right ,follow the signs to Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodges. Directions from Bloemfontein (about 3 hours to Clarens) Follow the N8 to Ladybrand. Pass Ladybrand and continue on the R26 pass Clocolan and Ficksburg. Turn right at Fouriesburg onto the Clarens road (R711). Travel for about 30km. Turn right at the road S1028 , which is about 1km before the junction with the R712. Follow the tar road then continue on the dust road for about 1km. Turn left at the sign Rehoboth lodge / Bethel Estate. When the farm road forks, keep right ,follow the signs to Rehoboth and Meerkat Lodges. Alternative route from Bloemfontein Follow the N1 to Winburg, turn right onto the N5 to Bethlehem. Drive straight through Bethlehem and turn right onto the Durban road - N5. About 5km out of Bethlehem, turn right onto the Clarens/Golden Gate road (R712). Travel for about 35km to Clarens and pass Clarens. About 100m further, turn right towards Fouriesburg (R711).
