ROUTING FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Set the odometer reading to 0, all distances noted below are from the car rental parking lot. a) From the car rental area turn left onto the main road. b) Follow this road around past one turn off and take the next turn to the left – sign post Cape Town. c) Proceed along this road, out of the airport, to the motorway (N2), sign posted Cape Town, you will bear right onto the motorway after 2,4 km. d) Proceed along the N2 motorway past the first turnoff and take the next turnoff, sign posted N7 Malmesbury, after 5,3 km. e) At the top of the off ramp, cross the first set of traffic lights and turn at the second set, Malmesbury N7. f) Proceed along this road for 26 kilometers, passing the refinery and a few roads to the left until the sign Melkbosstrand, at 31,3 km. g) TURN LEFT AT THE MELKBOSSTRAND SIGN. h) Proceed along this road for 8,4 kilometers until you reach a road crossing with traffic lights. i) Turn right onto the R27 at the crossroads. j) Proceed for 90,3 kilometers until the sign Saldanha at 130 km. k) Turn left and proceed for approximately 12,5 km until crossroad (Saldanha / Vredenburg / Jacobsbaai). l) At the crossroad, turn left towards Saldanha and be on the lookout for the AVONDRUST pointer boards in Saldanha.
