If you're driving from Cape Town, it's best to take the N2 out of town, over Sir Lowry's Pass, turning into Grabouw. Drive through Grabouw town on the main road, and turn left onto the R321 (Villiersdorp turn off). Follow this road over the Viljoen's Pass, finally turning right towards Botrivier/Eerstehoop (the sign is on the left hand side of the road - it can sometimes be obscured, so please keep an eye out). Follow this road for about 8km - it will then become gravel. Stay on the gravel road for approximately 7km until you see the "Porcupine Hills Guest Farm" and "Southern Yurts" sign (on the left hand side of the road). As soon as you see this sign, slow right down to 20km/h - the driveway is directly after this sign and the turn (left) into the farm is sharp.
