Take the N1 highway from Johannesburg /Pretoria. Turn off at the Kranskop Toll Plaza to Nylstroom/Modimolle. (Far left off- ramp). Once off the N1 and at the top of the off- ramp, turn left towards Modimolle/Nylstroom. Go through Nylstroom/Modimolle and continue on towards Vaalwater (± 70km). In Vaalwater turn right at the first stop street towards Melkriver. You will see the Jan Vleis on the right hand corner. At the next stop street continue straight and travel for ± 43km until you reach a T-junction (Please ignore the Jembisa sign on your left at the dirt road turn off and continue straight until you reach the T-junction). At the T-junction turn left and continue on this road for about 8km. On the left hand side you will see a sign that says Magari Lodge – turn left onto this gravel road. Follow the gravel road until you reach a gate – go through the gate. Once through the gate, follow the Magari signs to the lodge.
