FROM CAPE TOWN Take the N2 to Somerset West, then get on the R43 to Hermanus. Alternatively, after leaving Somerset West, turn right into the R44 and drive through Gordon’s Bay and along the coast. After Kleinmond turn right into the R43 to Hermanus. This is the longer, but more scenic route. Then drive through Hermanus, past Stanford and through Gansbaai. Twenty-one kilometres (21 km) past Gansbaai at the Pearly Beach crossing, follow the brown tourist signs to Klein Paradijs by turning left into the gravel road. Then take your first left and drive to the thatched house behind some trees on your right to collect your key and get directions to your unit.
