Earlier check-ins can only be accommodated on days with no prevailing bookings. NOTE: If you find yourself at KUSANA PARK - this is not correct… (Some phones do this.) PLEASE follow directions listed below, in this instance. Keep your eyes open for the 2 PILES OF WHITE ROCKS and the WHINSTONE sign hanging close to the ground. Here you will also see the first sign for FAR AWAY PLACE - so you will know you are on the right track. MAIN WHINSTONE ENTRANCE: DIRECTIONS FROM DURBAN: On the N3 head towards Harrismith. (You will pass Midmar dam on your left) Take the LIONS RIVER / CURRYS POST Turn off, Exit 114. Turn right under the freeway and continue up the road. At the T-Junction, turn left towards Currys Post. (You will see Terbedore Coffee on your left hand side a few KMs on.) 1km on from Terbedore, you will hit another dirt road, and exactly 3km on this dirt road, you will see the farm entrance on your right hand side. There are two piles of rocks on either side of the entrance, beneath some OAK trees – the rocks are painted white and will make spotting our farm estate road a little easier. DIRECTIONS FROM HARRISMITH/JOHANNESBURG: On the N3 towards Durban you will take the Nottingham Road Turn Off (Exit 132) Turn left over the Freeway and you will see Linga Lapa on your left and Windmills garage on your right. BTW – LINGA LAPA does amazing fresh health bread and GREAT biltong. Also very very good rib eye steak, as well as a fine selection of wine and local craft beers. It’s also a great last stop, for the few things you may have left behind. You will hit a dirt road shortly after that and will drive through Arlington forests on both sides of you. Appr 7km from Linga Lapa, you will see the farm entrance on your left hand side. WELCOME TO FAR AWAY PLACE: Once you turn into the WHINSTONE farm entrance, at the first fork, KEEP RIGHT (you will see our sign) and follow the road down to the estate entrance, which will be open. We are number 5 and are the last farm on this new road - just keep following it (under power lines and then past some other homes on your left) till you go through the last farm gate. (You will see the cottage and our home in the valley on your way down - we are in front of the forest.) Safe travels and see you soon!
