Direction to get to Antares Bush Camp. From Jo’burg you need to either take the N12 towards Witbank, going past the airport or take the N1 towards Pretoria, and take the N4 turn-off to Witbank/Nelspruit. Once you go past Witbank continue along the N4 until the Belfast turn-off. Follow the signs for Dullstroom, Lydenburg and then Orighstad. From Orighstad, travel over the escarpment through the Abel Erasmus tunnel. About 10kms from the bottom of the pass turn to the left and follow the signs to Phalaborwa/Tzaneen. A further 10-15kms take a right turn towards Phalaborwa/Mica. At the end of this road turn left and continue past Mica for about 25km until you see the turn off to Grietjie on your right hand side. 200m from the R71/R40 you will reach the reserve entrance gate. At the control gate tell the security guards that you are going to Antares. At the crossroads (±4.5kms) turn right and follow the signs for the camp. When you reach the gate to Olifants North Game Reserve, don’t go through the gate but turn left and follow the road for about 1km. Antares is the first road to your right. The camp is 12 kms along a dirt road from the R530.
