Recommended route from Port Elizabeth: N2 to Grahamstown. R335 to Addo Elephant Park past Markman and Motherwell - 40km's to Addo, Turn left at R336 to Kirkwood. After 9km's,Past Sunland Village, over bridge, left at sign, onto first tar then becoming gravel road - after 2.2kmm turn. Left at entrance to Hitgeheim. Follow the marked road through the reserve. Look out for wild animals and cars coming from the front. Enjoy the bush experience until you reach the lodge 2.5km Recommended route from Graaff-Reinet: R72 to Port Elizabeth. R335 to Kirkwood/Addo Elephant National Park. Turn right at 4-way stop in Kirkwood. After 20km's, look out for Prospect Road and our sign. Turn right, follow the road first section tar rest gravel for 2.2 km. Left at entrance to Hitgeheim. Follow the marked road through the reserve. Look out for wild animals and cars coming from the front. Enjoy the bush experience until you reach the lodge 2.5km
