* Bundox River Lodge is located only 57.6 km from Hoedspruit and is easily and affordably accessed by self-drivers from Eastgate Airport. Alternatively, a road transfer from airport to the camp can be arranged. * Self-drivers will meet the guide at the Grietjie Balule-gate and park their vehicles in a secured parking area. Our guides will be there to meet new guests and take them to camp in a game viewer, so the safari begins as soon as one is through the gate! * Conservation levy and Vehicle Entry fee are payable on booking. From O.R. Tambo International Airport: - Take the N12 or N4 highway to Witbank / eMalahleni (from Johannesburg Airport, follow signs to Boksburg to find the N12); - Follow the N4 highway past Middleburg (Toll Plaza) and take the Belfast turnoff towards Dullstroom on the R540; - Continue through Lydenburg and Ohrigstad on the R36, go through the Strydom Tunnel and take the R527 to Hoedspruit; - Turn left onto the R40; - Follow the R40 towards Phalaborwa; - Continue on the R40 (the road eventually turns into the R530 as you get close to Phalaborwa) - Take the Grietjie Balule turn-off (it is well-signposted) and drive to the Grietjie Balule gate; - Sign-in at the gate and the team will meet you here; - Bundox River Lodge will be at Balule North, Farm Doreen, Greater Kruger National Park.
