

Note: We are situated in a small place called Bokkraal, Groot Marico, 3 hour’s drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. As the access roads are dirt roads it is recommended that you have a high clearance vehicle, SUV or 4x4 vehicle to access the area. This will add to your adventure. From Johannesburg/Pretoria: - Take the N14 towards Krugersdorp. At the intersection of Hendrik Potgieter and the N4 (Pinehaven Sasol) turn right to go towards Magaliesburg (R24). - Go through Magaliesburg and take the left turn onto the R509 (a Spar store will be on your left). - Keep on the R509 through Derby and then Koster. - Keep left at Koster onto the R52. - Keep on the R52 until you intersect with the R53 Swartruggens / Ventersdorp intersection. - Turn right on the R53 towards Swartruggens. - Travel on the R53 until you reach the P172-2 (old Koster / Zeerust road. - Turn left towards Zeerust on the dirt road. - This is where you turn the work switch to off as you leave the tar road and enjoy the view. - Travel for approximately 30 km. - For those of you who want to do a bit of 4x4/offroad, you are welcome to take the first turn-off to Bokkraal. - For those of you that don’t please take the second turn off to Bokkraal. - If you reach the turn-off for Groot Marico you have gone too far. - Follow the road until you reach the gate that points out Red Cliff Lodge (B12) and Afsaal Dawie and Juliet Fourie. - Go through this gate and follow the not-so-long and winding road until you reach a fork, with signboards pointing to Red Cliff Lodge and Bremer House, turn left here. - Take a right and keep following the dirt road. - You will come to Afsaal Farm Bokkraal which is the first property to your left. - Our welcoming committee and early warning system will announce your arrival. - Please proceed down past our house through the gate and turn right. - The lodge will be to your left. We will meet you there.
