From Johannesburg / Pretoria: Take the N4 Highway to Witbank and Middleburg. Pass through the Middleburg Toll Gate after Witbank (R40-00 for cars) continuing on highway passing Belfast, passing “Milly’s” on the left until you get to the final toll gate at Machadodorp. Pass through this Toll Gate (R60-00 for cars) and at the bottom of the hill just after the toll gate, take the left road to Nelspruit / Lydenburg. This is the N4 & R36 and the signboard says “Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof”. From this split take an Odometer Reading and travel for exactly 41kms (passing Bambi on RHS after 15kms). Just after passing Old Joe’s Kaia on the LHS and approaching 41 kms you will see a sign on the left saying “Mathew Phosa College” and “Weltevreden”. Take this left turn. Travel for 1 ½ kms on a dirt road, crossing a bridge over the Crocodile River. After bridge take first left to “Sterkspruit” and travel for another 1 ½ kms and on the right hand you will see a sign that says Kilmorna Manor and Private Nature Reserve. On the left (as a guideline) at this point is a house and largish dwelling. Turn right up the hill at the Kilmorna sign and travel up to gates. Open gates and go through and close gates and take dirt road up to the main house. From Lydenburg take the road to Machadodorp. At the N4 T-junction turn left toward Nelspruit and not Machadodorp and follow above directions. From Nelspruit take the N4 to Machadodorp via Schoemanskloof and follow the above directions – the Mathews Phosa turn off will then be before Old Joe’s Kaia and one will turn right as opposed to left.
