Dezzi Raceway began humbly as a single tarred raceway for car testing. Since its inception, it has evolved and is now a competitive racing circuit enjoyed by drivers of all calibres.
Dezzi Raceway is located at the Dezzi Headquarters in Port Shepstone and is built on an old airstrip that overlooks rural Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Annually, the raceway holds its much-anticipated ‘Dezzi Invitational Time Attack’. These racing events feature 55 top South African drivers who compete for the winning title. Motor enthusiasts can feast their eyes on three to five million rand cars, including beauties such as Ferraris, McLarens and Lamborghini’s.
Competitors and spectators have a wide range of amenities at their disposal, including viewing decks, locker rooms and an entertainment area which is currently under construction.
Recently, a state-of-the-art 2.5-kilometer circuit was constructed as an extension of the existing raceway. It is fast becoming a national feature for South African drift racing and is the only Motorsport South Africa approved track in Kwa Zulu Natal. The circuit is made up of two purpose build drift tracks. A recently constructed stretch of high-speed corners has joined the two drift tracks to form the full circuit.
These tracks are used by amateurs who are looking to hone in on their skills, as well as seasoned pros every year who frequent the venue for regional racing competitions
