The Inanda Dam is an earth-fill type dam located on the Mgeni River, near Hillcrest in KwaZulu-Natal.

It was first established in 1989 for commercial and industrial uses, but has since become a popular destination for water sports. As it is an ideal sport for jet skiing, power boating and canoeing, water sports enthusiasts flock to the damn year-round for regular fun-filled activities . With its abundance in marine life, Inanda Dam is known for its bass and fly-fishing opportunities and is popular among the locals. Fish found within the Inanda dam include Tilapia(both Blue and Red-Chest), Barbel (catfish), Scalies (yellow-fish) and Carp.

Campers can safely pitch their tent around the water's edge; and enjoy an evening braai at the camp's barbecue facilities. Children are catered for at the camp-site's jungle gym and playing area. A short, self-guided tour gives visitors the chance to see some impressive vistas and a wide variety of bird life.
