A visit to the Lion Park in Johannesburg gives tourists the opportunity to learn more about the king of the jungle, and provides an unparalleled wildlife experience.
Upon self-driving adventures or guided tours, visitors to the Lion Park will see a wide range of game that includes rare white lions, hyenas, wild dogs, and 20 other African wild life species. Not only will you have plenty of game-spotting opportunities, but these drives will pass through an antelope grazing area and four different lion pride camps.
A visit to the park has a photographic component to it, where visitors can interact with animals while having their photo taken by the park’s photographer.
Other popular attractions include an exclusive walk with adult cheetahs; or a 2-hour Lion Tour with expert animal behaviourist, Alex Larenty.
For mementos to take home with you there is a curio shop with an array of safari-inspired gifts, toys, clothing and books.
For the hungry, have a sit-down lunch or dinner at the park’s restaurant – enjoy a meal from the a la carte menu or a pizza from the wood-fired oven.
Lion Park is a great venue for children with due to their wide variety of entertainment., Cub World allows for small kids to visit, and pet baby animals. Alternately, children can enjoy some wild rides, a jumping castle or jungle gym at the newly-built amusement park.

IF BY THIS YOU MEAN THE AREA, I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE AND IN FACT ONCE LIVED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. OF COURSE MONTE CASINO IS THE MAIN ATTRACTION, ESPECIALLY AS I WATCHED THE BOKS WIN AGAINST CANADA THERE. HOWEVER THE WHOLE AREA IS EXTREMELY INTERESTING.
