Beers and Gears Festival 2015
After it's resounding success last year, the craft beer, wine and food pairing appreciation fair is back by popular demand. The anticipated takes places from 4-5 December 2015 at the WillowBridge Shopping Centre. Festival-goers can look forward to an event bigger and better than ever before.
Formerly called the 'Craft Beer Festival', the name of the event has been changed to 'Beers and Gears' to incorporate some exciting, new additions to the festival. Motor enthusiasts can look forward to a unique showcasing of classic and sports vehicles. There is also a change in venues to an outdoor location, allowing attendees to slurp on beer and sip on wine while enjoying the summer sunshine.
Wine aficionados and beer guzzlers can sample the wares of 15 local craft beer and wine producers, while the hungry can enjoy some scrumptious street grubs from the various food trucks. The event will also showcase the emerging South African Micro Brewing Industry as well as strong wine culture of the northern region. To add to the festivities, live music performances will occur throughout the two-day event.
