Cape Floral Kingdom Expo 2017 - 2
The Cape Floral Kingdom Expo celebrates the biodiversity of Cape Province. This year, budding horticulturalists can make their way to the Agri Mega Park in Bredasdorp from 1 - 6 September 2017 for the much-anticipated event.
This expo presents visitors with the unique opportunity of experiencing the magnificent splendour of the Cape Floral Kingdom. The expo will be presented by established and respected growers, representatives, among other knowledgeable experts in the industry. It is open to international, national and regional role players who are committed to conservation practices - who are invited to attend, participate and support flora in the heart of the fertile Overberg region.
Attendees can look forward to a host of activities, exhibitions and conservation workshops, including floral displays at 'The Mountain' and a unique retail experience at the CFK Pop-Up Shop. 'The Mountain' displays fynbos in its natural habitat and is designed by Floraland. Other attractions include the Fynbos Demo Stage where various flowering competitions take place, as well as food, wine, and rooibos tea-tasting. If you enjoy mid-afternoon tea parties, don't miss out on the Mad Hatter's High Tea event - sip on tea and enjoy the entertainer of the day. The three-day event will be hosting their first ever flea market at the Fynbos Shed. Vendors from will be selling an eclectic assortment of wares - from food and drink to trinkets and pot plants. There will also be a myriad of exhibitions, curated by organisations such as Marine Dynamic Conservation Trust, the Botanical Society of South Africa, the Grootbos Foundation, and others.
