Decorex Durban 2016
In a creative melting pot like South Africa, people have many opportunities to expose themselves to innovative design ideas, often through design festivals and indabas. One such design show is Decorex, an international trade show which travels the country, highlighting top designers and design trends in décor, lifestyle and food. In March, it’s time for Decorex Durban.
From 18 to 21 March 2016, the Durban Exhibition Centre will be transformed into design haven. While the programme is still to be confirmed, if last year's event is anything to go by, Decorex 2016 will not disappoint. Right from the entrance to the event you will be enthralled by creativity.
The 2016 Decorex Durban is themed 'Take it Home, Make it Home’, and aims to leave visitors with an infinite amount of DIY ideas as well as inspiration on how to revamp their interior and exterior spaces. The theme also looks at the latest international latest designs and décor trends, with a particular focus on the quality, detail, layering and timelessness of the 'quintessential' home. A colourful pop-up, hosted by I Heart Market, will run all through the day on Saturday, and promises to delight the senses of all shoppers.
Foodies will love the wide spectrum of delicious culinary experiences and endless dining options, that range from casual cafés, full-service restaurants, and the perennial gourmet market.
A combination of beautiful inspiration and clever ideas, as well as fun, interactive installations and delicious eats make Decorex Durban the ideal place to visit with a group of friends – or even the whole family.
