While the shiraz blends take centre stage, also up for the tasting are a selection of South Africa's finest Syrah varietals.
Wine producers who feature in the wine pairing event include the following: Rust en Vrede, Waterford, Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, Hartenberg Estate, Simonsig,Thelema and others.
Apart from the meat, attendees can also line their stomachs with cheese nibbles and other artisanal fair, reminding discerning foodies that as is always the case, local is certainly lekker.
