Stellenbosch Craft Beer Festival 2018
Considered the premier craft beer festival in the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosch Craft Beer Festival makes its return annual return to the quaint student town. The event takes place on 14 April 2018 at the Jan Marais Nature Reserve in Stellenbosch.
Says the organisers of the event, Dawid Fourie, “we started the festival because we like beer and because there’s nothing like this in Stellenbosch.” Locals and visitors will have the opportunity to taste a wide selection of local brews, bound to sate the thirst of all beer lovers.
Festival-goers get to sample over twenty brews all under one roof. While no single beer-drinking experience is the same, the brews have distinctive flavours and textures so prepare yourself for a taste explosion. One will be able to learn about the different styles of beer making through discussions with brewmasters.
For the hungry, there will be a lot of grub can be purchased from the food stalls while non-alcoholic beverages are also readily available. Live music will be playing throughout the day, so grab a cold one and relax on the lawn.
As the event is taking place outside, attendees are advised to take hats and cream to prevent potential sunburn, as well as blankets and camping chairs.
The event is opened to the public from 11 am and closes again at 8 pm. Tickets are now available on Quicket.
