Marula Lodge is a Guesthouse with a beautiful large garden that invites you to relax and enjoy. It is situated in the historical town of Swellendam and is within walking distance of various fine restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisine. We offer comfortable accommodation, a sparkling swimming pool with stunning mountain views and serve a sumptuous breakfast on the garden terrace. Stay a while - you may not be able to take in all that Swellendam and its beautiful surrounding areas can offer in merely one day. The area offers many activities and excursions such as beautiful mountain trails, horse riding, whale watching, wine tasting and many more. It can be used as the central point to visit surrounding areas, each one unique in its own right. We will gladly help to organise your tour and day trips, which may include wine tasting at Robertson Wine Valley, a boat trip on the Breede River with picnic on the boat, a day trip to De Hoop Nature Reserve and/or to Cape Agulhas, the most southern point of Africa.
