We are only a 20 minute drive from Strandfontein that is situated on the mouth of the Olifant's river. Strandfontein ("beach fountain") evolved from being an insignificant rural beach resort to a bustling tourist mecca during the wild flower season (August/September) and during the South African summer season (November to February) and Easter holidays (March/April). We are in the heart of the Namaqualand flowers area. It is beautiful to view this in season.
