Koedoeskloof is an owner-run guesthouse and B & B, situated on a 1,7-hectare smallholding in the Dwarsrivier Valley, 9kms from Ladismith just off Route 62 in the Western Cape. We offer guests peace and tranquility as our property is surrounded by the Klein Swartberg mountain range and overlooks the magical Towerkop mountain peak.
We are approximately 450km from Port Elizabeth and another 330km to the centre of Cape Town, thus perfectly situated for a one-night stop-over for guests travelling between these cities or alternatively a quiet weekend far away from the maddening crowds in a safe and peaceful environment.
The Aloe Ferox are in full bloom from the beginning of June till the middle of July and we're offering a Winter Discount to encourage travelers to come and view this amazing spectacle of orange flowers right here on our property.
The accommodation comprises 4 en-suite rooms, each have separate entrances, Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are connected to a shared stoep which forms part of the main house. Of the 4 rooms, 3 have king beds that can also be converted into twin beds, and en-suite bathrooms with showers. Room 4 has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath. A 5th room with a king size bed plus a single bed, and bathroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, is available for groups of more than 8.
Our comfy, good quality beds and 200 thread percale bed linen will ensure a good night's rest. Apart from pure white linen (anti-allergy pillows & duvet inners), soft fluffy throws and warm blankets, we also provide fresh towels, complimentary toiletries as well as a well-stocked tea-and coffee tray. The rooms are kept cool in summer with ceiling fans and in winter warm with wall heaters.
As none of the rooms are self-catering, we cater for your needs in our on-site burger & breakfast restaurant. It is a casual dining area and the central point of the guesthouse where you can relax and enjoy sundowners on the deck whilst taking in the scenic beauty of the spectacular Dwarsrivier Valley.
For dinner we offer our famous homemade gourmet burgers ranging from beef, kudu, chicken to vegan. Other meals are also available by prior arrangement. Our breakfast is highly rated and boasts fresh fruit in summer plus a farm fresh country breakfast with real filter coffee, throughout the year.
Koedoeskloof is ideally located in an area that is easily accessible by car or motorcycle and is the perfect for exploring the Klein Karoo region.
We are an off-road adventure motorbiking destination.
