Our luxury self-catering units are fully equipped. Each unit has its own kitchen, bathroom and lounge and braai area. All units open up onto beautiful green lawns which lead down to the river's edge. Units accommodate from 3 people up to 5 people. For bigger groups there are units with an inter leading door. All linen provided. There is something for everyone when visiting Umzimkulu Marina! For the men there is estuary and deep sea fishing while the rest of the family can go on a whale and dolphin watching boat ride or bake in the sun on one of our clean and safe beaches.Take a romantic paddle on our canoe up the river or simply have a divine picnic on our beautiful green lawns while the kids play on the jungle-gym. Our coastline is ideal for rock and surf fishing or shore diving which most times is rewarded with a catch. Shopping centres are right around the corner in case the men fail to provide the supper. If bird watching is your game the river banks are inhabited with a wide variety of bird life including our own resident pair of breeding fish eagles that will wake you in the morning with their breath taking cries. For the water-babies there is world class surf along the coast with shark nets to calm the nerves. As the day draws to an end take a sunset cruise on our barge while enjoying a drink or two.
