Chase Guest House comprises a traditional sugar farm homestead in a beautiful garden bordering Eshowe, offering bed-and breakfast or self-catering accommodation with personal service and country hospitality. A heathy English / Continental or Businessman's breakfast can be enjoyed overlooking rolling sugarcane fields, the cattle paddock and farm dam .There are two spacious, double, tastefully-appointed self-catering Garden Cottages with private patios and braai areas. Each has a fully-equipped kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge and double hot plate, DSTV and Free WiFi. There is safe, secure parking next to the cottages. In addition, there is a larger Farm Cottage, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (none en-suite) suitable for five adults. This is popular with families or birding groups. It has a large sitting room, dining area, kitchen with stove and microwave, large shady front veranda and spacious back sitting area. .It also has DSTV and free WiFi. There is great birding in the garden, at the dam and in the indigenous forests on the farm.(95 species) Cool off in a sparkling pool after tennis, cycling and the trampoline. Bicycles are available for the energetic at a nominal rate. Sugar, banana and Protea farm tours can be taken, time permitting. There is safe parking and a generator for those times when electricity is down. Situated close to Zulu crafts at Vukani Zulu Cultural Museum, the Fort Nongqayi Museum Village, Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk, Eshowe Butterfly Dome, and opposite the 18-hole Eshowe Hills Golf Estate, there is much for visitors to see and do. Easy day trips can be made to Game Reserves, beaches and Zulu cultural villages nearby, and guides can be arranged.
