Situated in the secluded Bonkolo Basin, 14 km from Queenstown, it is a tranquil destination for people who enjoy raw nature, sunny days and water activities, but still close enough to town for all necessities, including most shops, hospital facilities and restaurants. There are many activities available in and around the Bonkolo dam, as well as in the local area, with sailing, fishing, bird watching, hiking, game hunting to name but a few. Suntsani Escape Resort comprises of self-catering chalets and facilities for campers. We can also provide self-catering accommodation for working teams, with a standard room for the team supervisor and two x 4-sleepers (backpacker’s style) for the working team.
