The Container House is situated along the banks of the Vaal River, on the Free State side, between Vanderbijlpark and Parys. The house is 100km from Roodepoort. The house features 5 bedrooms each with 4 beds. There are 2 bathrooms inside the house and bathrooms and showers in a separate building next to the house. There is a large kitchen and a huge lounge area. There are an additional 3 rooms each with their own bathrooms. The house and property are suitable for large groups and accommodate family gatherings, bachelor parties, birthday parties etc. The house is situated on a 2Ha property. The next closest house to the right is 200m away and to the left 500m away. The property is part of a large farm. The river has numerous shallow areas and therefore the use of motor boats is not possible. Small rubber dinghies with a motor can be used. There are 5 canoes available for use. The River is ideal for fishing and many large fish have been caught here. The River is safe for swimming as the River is quite shallow. The House is ideal for groups of people (up to 20). Large groups of people can mingle in the lounge area, sit on the large verandah or sit on the lawn. The House can also be used for weddings of up to 60 people. The road is tar up to 1km from the house. There is 600m of gravel road before you turn onto the farm. There is then a further 400m on the farm road to the house. The gravel road is usually very good and is regularly maintained. Bedding is not provided. The mattresses are covered with sheets. When you rent the House, you get exclusive access to the property.
